Sex education has now become one of the most popular topics that is frequently discussed. Sex education is not about sex alone. It is mainly about sexuality awareness, the form of contraception and how to avoid sexually transmitted diseases.

Many studies to prove the importance of sex education in schools have been done.There are several reasons to support school-based sex education that are motivation against sexual violence and knowledge of the dangers and negative effects that may occur in the case of inappropriate sexual behavior.

Nevertheless, when there is a lack of skilled instructor to educate the students about the right information in sex education, sex education in school may have gone wrong.

Sex education provides the student with sexual violence control. This is because sex education can help the student biologically understand themselves and prepare to confront the world without becoming a victim to sexual predators.

We may be conscious, for instance, of good and bad contact.The child molester has been identified in many cases. Sex education can thus provide the individual with information to defend themselves. It also empowers students to speak if their sexual preferences are violated regardless of gender.

In addition, sex education should increase the student's understanding of the danger and negative effects that may result from inappropriate sexual behaviour, but we must first realize that sex education does not teach students how to have sex at an early age.

This tells them about the possible physical, cultural, and biological dimensions of maintaining a healthy sex life. For example, students may be familiar with the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or HIV and AIDS, as well as unplanned pregnancy that may occur due to lack of knowledge and education in proper and safe sex techniques.

Last but not least, although the sex education in school has many advantages, it also has its drawbacks. Mostly teachers with the mission of teaching sex education are not experts and have an uncertain understanding of their own sexual health.

The student can misunderstand the unskilled teacher's knowledgeFor example, if sex education is not properly taught, it may lead students to assume that pre-marriage intercourse is desired simply because they hear about it. This is even more dangerous because incorrect information will leave the student with an incorrect perception.

In a nutshell, it is important to have sex education in schools as it is known to teach students about gender and sexual health issues.

In encouraging successful sex education for growing children, a school plays an important role. It should start as early as possible.

Sex education can thus help students become more comfortable in their sexual development and apply safety measures to avoid early sexual activity threats and negative effects.
