ALOR GAJAH- UITM Melaka Campus Alor Gajah was held a ground breaking ceremony for a project called Baitul Awqaf on 12 December 2019. This ceremony was officiating by Dato' Seri Hashim Bin Hassan, the Secretary of State Government. This project actually was inspired by the rector of UITM Alor Gajah.
This officiating of ground breaking ceremony was witnessed by the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Rector, Rector himself and Top Management Officer of UITM Alor Gajah. There were also students who came to see the ceremony.
Dr Amirul Azwan Bin Aziz said that the project of Baitul Awqaf have two constructions which are 'Dataran Keusahawanan' and 'Research Garden'. Not only that, he also added that this project was started four weeks ago and estimated to finish around six to 12 months depends on the budgets.
In addition, 'Dataran Keusahawanan' is specially designed for students entrepreneurship activities so there will be six to eight booths will be provided. Besides, 'Research Garden' is for lecturers and students who want to do the research activities.
