GROUND BREAKING EVENT FOR THE NEW PROJECT CALLED BAITUL AWQAF

ALOR GAJAH: On the 12th December 2019, located at UITM Melaka Campus Alor Gajah. There was a ground breaking event to officiating a rector's special project called 'Baitul Awqaf' or also known as a donation project. This event was started at 7.30 a.m. This event was officiated by the Secretary of State Goverment, Dato' Hashim B. Hassan and watched by Vice Chancellor, Rector, 

Deputy Rector and Top Management Officer of UITM Melaka.

Furthermore, Dr. Amirul Azwan B. Aziz said that the project of 'Baitul Awqaf' have two constructions which are 'Dataran Keusahawanan' and 'Research Garden'. In addition, there are six to eight stalls for students' entreprenuer activities. As for the 'Research Garden', lecturers and students could do the research activities. 

He also added, this project was inspired by the rector himself. Moreover, this project was started four weeks ago and estimated to finish around six to twelve months depends on the budget. Fund raising for this project is underway, so anyone can donate for this 'Baitul Awqaf''s project.


As for me, I think this project is actually good for the students and also the lecturer as well. It is because, the facilities that they will provided are really useful for them. Not only that, anyone who are wanted to donate and want to do something good can donate to this Baitul Awqaf.
