Groundbreaking of Baitul Awqaf Project Ceremony.

ALOR GAJAH : The ground breaking opening ceremony of the Baitul Awqaf Uitm Melaka Branch project was officiated by state secretary YB Dato' Seri Hasim Bin Hasan on 12 December 2019. 

According one of the lecturers involved in the opening ceremony, Dr. Amirul Azwan Bin Abdul Aziz said the idea of the project was a long time ago from the rector but in 2019 the project was new, and was begin 4 weeks ago, the project is in the 6 -12 month plan to be financially ready as it is depends on the funds to make sure this Waqaf project going well. 

The project involved two constructions which is Dataran Usahawan and Research Garden. Besides, Dataran Usahawan would provide about six to eight booths that would be responsible by each faculty for student entrepreneurship activities. Meanwhile, the Research Garden is an area specially designed for students or lecturers to conduct research activities. 

This opening ceremony also was witnessed by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Uitm Melaka, the Rector and the Deputy Rector also the top management officers of Uitm Melaka. 

The groundbreaking ceremony took place well and the fundraising was open to the lecturers and students.
